Our Story

Komal Herbals, Inc. (Komal) was established in 2005. It all began one year prior in 2004 when our founder, Hasmukh Parekh, was inspired by the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, the natural healthcare and healing system known to India for 5000 years. This inspiration lead him to dispose of his pharmaceutical manufacturing facility producing high end anti-biotics (Cephalosporins).  He then transitioned to offering pure natural herbs and its products, with the firm belief that these will help people live a longer, healthier, and happier lives.

We vowed to ensure our company would set a high standard to ethically source pure herbs that are organically grown and ethically  harvested from India and worldwide. We embrace sustainable and eco-friendly practices and work hard with our vendors to ensure you receive products you can trust.

Proof of that commitment is shown in our certifications, in 2009 we achieved and have maintained Kosher Certification with Earth Kosher. Next to follow in 2011 was our Organic Certification through Pennsylvania Certified Organics, still active today for our product lines. In 2015 we ventured into manufacturing not just Organic and Kosher products but also Gluten-Free, Vegan and non-GMO verified products. We continue to be committed to our customers and the planet to this day and strive to make our products for a better future for all.

In order to ensure that all our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety, we built a new State-of-the-Art manufacturing facility in 2017. Our facility is third-party cGMP and Organic certified and is fully equipped to produce a variety of natural and time-tested products. We launched AyurBest and Kazana as our two trusted brands that support the environment and nurture the body.

We are proud to manufacture and launch THE FIRST MADE IN THE USA Chyawanprash (PRAAS), the ultimate organic elixir for life. It is made in small batches using only Certified Organic ingredients. We have also ventured into encapsulating organic single and blended herbs in its whole natural form.

We are passionate about Ayurveda and we take our role of supplying the best herbal and natural products inspired by Ayurveda very seriously. We work hard to find premium ingredients for our products and are consciously moving to bring you an ever-increasing number of herbal and natural products.
